The Freeplay Summit is the first compact multiband PLL radio incorporating Freeplay's unique self-sufficient energy technology. This top end radio combines unparalleled sound quality with the reliability of multiple power options: wind up, solar and rechargeable. The Summit is fitted with a DC input facility to accommodate the AC/DC adapter. And for the times when you are not near a wall socket, the Summit can be powered from the sun or from the user's own energy! Just 30 seconds of winding will provide enough energy for the Summit to play for up to 30 minutes and it can be rewound at any time for as much playtime as needed. Any unused energy will be stored in the internal battery. Key features include coverage of 4 wave bands (FM/MW/SW/LW), digital tuning and 30 station presets. An LCD digital display panel with back-lighting enables the user to see the selected radio station, clock and alarm settings - day or night.
